Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

LeagueTool ("the Platform") is operated by Steve Wilk through Diamond Cardboard, LLC. The Platform provides youth sports league management tools including player evaluations, team building, and league administration. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Platform collects, how it is used, and who can access it.

2. Information We Collect

The Platform collects and stores the following information:

Account Information (Evaluators, Coaches, Admins)

• Full name
• Email address
• Password (stored securely via Supabase Auth — we never see your plain-text password)
• Assigned role (evaluator, front desk, or admin)

Player Information

• Player names and anonymous evaluation IDs
• Division and age group assignments
• Tryout evaluation scores and measurements
• Check-in records

Player data is imported from the league's existing registration software. The Platform does not collect information directly from players or their parents/guardians. Children do not create accounts or interact with the Platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

All data collected is used exclusively for:

• Authenticating and authorizing users
• Conducting player evaluations during tryouts
• Organizing players into divisions and teams
• Generating evaluation reports for league administrators
• Managing league operations including rosters, clearances, and scheduling

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. Period.

4. Who Can See Your Data

• Evaluators can see anonymous player IDs and enter scores for their assigned stations. They do not see player names.
• Front Desk staff can see player names and check-in information.
• Admins can see all player data, evaluation results, and user accounts for league administration purposes.

User emails and names are visible only to league administrators (admins) for the purpose of managing accounts and approvals.

5. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database platform built on PostgreSQL. Supabase provides:

• Encryption at rest and in transit
• Secure authentication with hashed passwords
• Row-level security policies to control data access

6. Children's Privacy

The Platform is used by adult coaches and evaluators only. Children do not create accounts or interact with the Platform directly. Player information (names, ages, scores) is entered and managed by authorized adult league personnel. This data is already available to the league through its registration software.

7. Data Retention

Evaluation data is retained for the duration of the current season and may be kept for reference in subsequent seasons at the league's discretion. Users may request deletion of their account and associated data by contacting us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the Platform. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly.
